Augmented Reality Prototypes
Three prototypes based on object tracking, surface and mid-air tracking, and image tracking
Augmented Memory
Utilizes GPS Tracking for 3D AR Compass
Uses Object Tracking Techniques in Unity utilizing Vuforia Model Target Generator
Used 3D scanning to create the model target of a public bench
This game uses a GPS AR Compass to guide the user to Rudder Tower. The player has to scan the bench (model target registration) to view the augmented memory. The character tells the story of James Earl Rudder, who played an important role in women's education at Texas A&M University. After the AR experience, it guides the user to the closest next spot where another AR experience is located.
FroggAR
Uses Surface Tracking (ray-casting) and Midair Tracking Techniques in Unity
Utilizes Touch Input Classes for Platform Creation and Frog Trajectory Control
Using tracking systems it generates jumping platforms for the frog. After the platforms are created a frog will appear. The player uses the touch function of the phone screen to control the length and direction of the jump. One life is lost if the player misses the platform.
High Fidelity Prototype
